The fleet is fairly fluid and active. During 2012 at least 14 boats changed ownership, so far 4 boats have found new homes in 2013¹⁾.

This is a highly competitive skiff built by Mike Cooke from Aardvark Technologies. She has been very lightly sailed since being built having been dry stored for a number of years.. She comes fitted with C- Tech components such as The Mast, Boom (with efficient Temple Vang kicker system), Spinnaker Pole and two carbon tiller extensions. She also has a C- Tech Daggerboard which was designed specially for the hull to prevent the boat from stalling out as easily as some other cherubs. She has a set of brand new and very lightly used GP sails and two spare more frequently used jibs. These have their own sail bags. She is complete with two different spinnakers, one grey and one white. Both have small repairs. These come in their own sail bags. There is also a spare kite chute. The boat is fully Harken fitted with continuous in- rack systems and two sets of toe loops. She comes with two different T- foil rudders with matching stocks, one set made by Bloodaxe and the other is also professionally made. There is a third rudder with foil section that is available and will need repair. The Deck has been fully and professionally gripped, and the racks are stiff and fully pro- gripped. The jib has a self tacking system which is connected to the mainsheet for easier handling. She has specifically fitted over and under covers, both of which are in very good condition. She comes with a aardvark launching trolley, specifically designed for the hull and a road trolley which is designed to fit this too. The mast is designed to fit a halyard if necessary and has an awesome quick release system for the main, for if and whenever necessary. The boat is sprayed in Alpha Romeo red and comes with a toolbox full of spare C- Tech fittings, rigging and touch up paint. Specific and small parts of the hull, which have seen damage due to the challenges of sailing a boat of this kind, have been sanded down and filled to avoid further damage to the boat. These have not threatened the integrity of the boat! The hull is stiff and watertight.

She is an amazing boat to sail and offers an exciting challenge to anyone who likes speed and the adrenalin of feeling almost out of control! She is one of the newest builds in the class with an incredibly fast hull and is all set to take part and win events! …in the right hands.

Built in 2007 by Aardvark Technologies, she based on a slug mould with racks. She is based at Chew Valley Lake, Bristol where she will be available to view and go for a sail. Subtle Knife is a fantastic choice for a first-time Cherub sailor as she has a high performance 2005-rules rig, but also a more manageable 1997-rules suite of sail as well. She has the benefit of a completely refurbished C-Tech mast featuring a new tip, base and spreader root upgrade, ie all the important bits! She has a stiff carbon hull, re-built main sail, excellent road trailer and trolley, top cover and under cover. She is ready to sail and will deliver race winning performance and a huge amount of fun.
