2017 Open Meeting 1 - Rutland SC 25/26 March

Shared with B14 and Musto Skiffs.  Going to be a sunny, warm (ish) F4 with lovely spacious windward leeward courses (well certainly the last part). 

I hear the pub that served the legendary ribs and streak combo is no more so evening entertainment limited to the sailing club unless someone has better local knowledge than I and wants to suggest a more appealing alternative.

3 races back to back each day.   Start no earlier than 12:00 on Saturday

Accommodation: Is available in bunk rooms within the clubhouse. The cost is £15 per night for a bed in a room with a shower or £13 without. Accommodation should be booked direct with the club office on 01780 720292 or [email protected]

I am interested in attending this, but I have no way of getting my boat up to Rutland and even if I did she has no paint on. So if there is anyone who is thinking about going but needs a crew and is willing to sail with a novice cherub crew then I would be most happy to crew for the weekend.

I think the wind/temp part of the formula is looking good for this weekend however Jill has a cold so the enthusiasm rating is zero.  Our attendance looking very unlikely which is a shame as the forecast looks as good as it can be for late March.
