Sorry guys due to no crew and no transport I cannot come.

Hi Team Slatter - maybe ask that another way?

Does anyone fancy joining Team Slatter for the weekend? Will need to collect/deposit boat and Alex from Alton Water (i.e. near Ipswich).

If I had a tow hitch I'd be up for it but I can't move boats around  :(

simon_jones

Eleanor will be there, looking forward to getting back on the water.

After this weekend, I'm getting excited about Rutland.

Anyone out there want to borrow BS for the event, I think there will be a few '97s to battle with...

BenR

Have just got back from Rutland this weekend with the 18's. If we have another weekend anything like we just had it will be great. If anyone is struggling for accommodation, the campsite just outside the sailing club gate is supposed to be open by the event and there is a travelodge with rooms for 28 quid a night there if you fancy a bit more "luxury". Can't wait for the first event of the season!

Anyone readin this with a boat - there are some very handy helms/crews sniffing about for  a ride at this event....

Met Office long range forecast currently suggesting no shortage of wind for next weekend!

roland_trim

I'm forecasting some "what have you done to my boat" as Neil once again takes to the water in Born Slippy.

Neil C.

Sorry, due to a late change of circumstances we won't be able to make it. Hope you all have an enjoyable weekend.

Sorry to hear that Neil. I'll update you if there are any late night whiskey sessions on the balcony discussing innovative technology developments,  such as the Roberts Design "Powerpants", as per our last visit!
