Great work securing this Paul. It should be a really good opportunity to show off the class to some other skiffs we don't usually sail with. As well as some we do!

Due to limited availability of suitable host clubs and scheduling issues, I have been unable to secure a suitable venue for the Inlands Championships in 2014.

As the Inlands is such an important event in the Cherub calendar it was felt that the risk of not having an event or being forced to a unsuitable venue very late in the season was too high.

It has therefore decided that the Rutland Travellers Event should be designated as the Inlands Nationals. Rutland is a great venue, able to set big courses in any wind direction with a top class race management team, all the ingredients of a great event.

There is a silver lining to the above is that we now have an excellent opportunity to add an additional sea based travellers event later in the year, probably after the National Championships. I have a couple of events in mind and hope to announce dates and venue shortly.

Where have people booked to stay? Bunkhouse at club is full.
Would be good to minimize the post curry drive :-)

My crew has a house down the road so I am staying there
Is that an open invitation.
does it matter?

I have yet to book accommodation for me - yes it would be handy to have a floor to crash on :-)
