Inside stored, plywood hull - might be a very interesting example from the past. May I suggest contact from our committee so ask about it, perhaps purloin some photos,  and request we get to know who buys it ?

You may suggest and an email may have been drafted already!
I'm interested to find out which boat it is.

Gave him a call and he's emailing some photo's, All I know so far is that its ply, has a straight stem and has no false floor..

I'm holding out for a spencer 7 or a foreman 4, but god knows where a carbon mast will have come from !

Spencer 7, 1658 "Crazy Horse".   Looks in pretty good nick.  Don't seem to be able to post photos at the moment, but it looks like a very sound boat!

Here is the message I have from him. Looks like it could be a great boat. and £125 to boot.
It is called Crazy Horse, which I see is listed on the uk cherub website as a spencer 7. I cannot see the pic on the website, but assume it is the same boat.

It was owned by a former member of  the sea scout group I teach sailing for. He lost his storage so the boat came to the group. We intended to finish off the refit and use it, but we are now moving away from wooden boats, and will shortly be moving out of our own workshop so will have no where to finish it.

Let me know if you are interested, or if you know anyone who may be interested? It looks a great fun boat!

It can be viewed any evening in Hamble. We were planning on taking it to the Netley Boat Jumble on Sunday- we are due to move from our workshop imminently and it would be a shame to leave it outside

If you need to get in contact with him pm me and i'll pass n his details.

Eeek, please someone responsible buy this - this is worthy of the next hall of fame.

If anyone is in the area and its going to go away, buy it and I'll refund you and I'll store it.

I'd be very interested to know where this ended up - I'd like to have a nose at fitting a new mast with a more reliable sail track to Koko and the carbon offering on Crazy horse might just do the trick?

In any event, if the new owner wants to nose around Koko's up to date mods or use her spare 91 sails as a template/to get her moving again do give me a shout.... but part of me thinks this one should be kept in her current layout and as classic as possible.
