There is a reason for putting this up early.  Entry is restricted and in the past some attempted last minute Cherub entries have been disappointed.

6 Cherubs already entered as of May 22

Doesn't look like they have reached their limit. So might just be a system issue.

i would reach out to them directly and see if you can get in.

Lovely weekend had at Castle Cove by 6 Cherubs though a little more wind and a little less traffic would have been good if I was being a bit picky.

Emma loves a good report judging on Grafham so after finishing 3rd again I hope her or Nick can type something for the yachting press

The cherubs were in the fast handicap fleet sailing a triangle sausage, sausage course with a smattering of other asymmetrics, a Merlin and 505.  On Saturday there was just enough wind for Usagi and Marmite to be leading the class.  On Sunday the wind dropped allowing the Merlin of Sam Pascoe into 2nd but Usagi clung on to the win the class by a point.   Marmite dropped to 3rd (2nd Cherub) and Ronin was 3rd Cherub,

Emma - over to you  :)

"GB's accident" ??

More of a centreboard than a dagger board.

From Sheppy Event:
QuoteWhile stood onshore for race 3 we saw some collamity on the first downwind leg, Nick had capsized for a long time, later getting towed in, hull out of the water. Dave did a full pitchpole which was strange.
Later we found they had hit Cheney Rock at full chat. Dave coming off lightly with mushed foam in his crash box.
Nick coming off worse with a FUBARed case and snapped pole. This left him out of contention for the rest of the weekend.
Thanks
Greg
