After day 1 Eleanor is lying 1st and Born Slippy 2nd. No prizes for guessing what the conditions were. BS enjoyed some aerial action. Crew is sore but very very happy.

I had a peek at the IOSSC webcam about 12 noon. Couldn't understand why there was nothing much happening. Then spotted the numbers in the corner "32mph / F6-7". Bad luck guys.

That's a real shame but can't wait to hear about Saturday's racing...Eleanor and BS...awesome.

We had to duck out because of last minute work problems but were already reconciled to only racing on Saturday. Sounds like we'd have been upside down most of the time even on Saturday, which makes me feel better about missing it.

Match report to follow. Yesterday was fantastic, and Sheppey gave us a warm welcome, so well worth the trip.
