Wow, Peter is unbelievably quick across the boat when he remembers to change sides :) Looks like a tough days sailing.

Wow, brill video... it just goes to show how fast, responsive and skillful crews have to be just to sail these boats. Fab action and really fun to watch. well done guys great entertainment; I wish I could do it! Ade.

i love the last fall!!!! have done that so many times
The pessimist complains about the wind; the optimist hopes it will change; the realist adjusts the sail

Absolutely blooming wonderful...we need more vids like this. It's all very well Paul Croote making it look easy (I am a fan Paul, really)..., people want to know if mere mortals can sail Cherubs...and they can with practice...and I will get there...in the end.

btw I'm not sure how well anyone would have coped with a gusty day at Weir Wood, so well done and thanks for being prepared to share vids of things going wrong.

Ronin looks fantastic.

Loco is trying to add to the video library but illness is intervening again  >:(

PS How are people fixing boom cams? I was thinking of trying heavy duty cable ties.

Thanks for the flattery, but I am no exceptional sailor I’ve just had lots of practice in windy conditions and I sail regularly.

Love the video, it does look like one of those impossible days. Think it would be fun to start posting when things go wrong videos, much more entertaining to watch, perhaps not on the public side though

'Flattery' was sincere Paul - seeing Marmite at Thornbury was impressive :)

Yes, just one of those impossible gusty days...as to the public face - it's a fine balance between addressing reality (and seeing the fun side of it) and not portraying modern Cherubs as 'impossible', yet it is actually the 'out there' performance which is part of attracting (young and er...older) people to the class.
