Tom got into Cherub sailing after talking to [[people:Will_Lee]] at the dinghy show 2004 and seeing them sail at the Final Fling in Plymouth that year.

Tom's is first sails of a Cherub were in [[boats:2681]] at Weymouth with [[people:Will_Lee]] and [[boats:2682]] with [[people:Gav_Sims]].  By the look on his face when he got out and went for a shower he was slightly scared! He soon realised that Cherubs were the only way to sail!

Tom now crews [[boats:2681]] with [[people:Andy Lang]]. He also crewed the 05' Nationals with [[people:Andy Paterson]] in [[boats:2676]] and won. Tom is a photography student at [[http://www.plymouth.ac.uk|Plymouth]] and also works for [[http://www.fotoboat.com|Fotoboat]]
